My dream technology manifesto

Hi, my name is Oscar. I'm an artist from Sweden under the moniker osukguri.

You might have grown up with the previous generation of technology, before the internet permeated everything - long before algorithms and addictive social media. It was a time of conscious usage and presence together, online.

Or, maybe you grew in the current era. But you know something doesn't feel right. Whether through stories passed down through uncs like my self, old digicam photos of Smash Bros. tournaments on heavy CRT:s or massive LAN-parties in an ocean of beige and transparent computers - you sense that technology used to be more fun.

Transparent technology will come back, maybe as a fad. But hopefully, the single-purpose devices, the consciousness with which we used technology will return too.

In the meantime, I'm making stickers and art for everyone who misses that era. Stick them in a place where people can see them - they're great conversation starters. Share your passion for the alternate reality in which our digital realms don't swallow us whole.
